Who is Duygu İkinci Özan?
Op. Dr. Duygu İkinci Özan was born in 1986 in Adana, Turkey. She graduated from Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine. She completed her specialization in Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Diseases and Head and Neck Surgery at Ankara Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital.
Throughout her career, she has worked at various healthcare institutions, including Tekirdağ State Hospital, Van Training and Research Hospital, and İstinye University Bahçeşehir Liv Hospital.
Dr. Özan specializes particularly in rhinoplasty (nose aesthetics), face and neck lifting, lip lift, and eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty). She also has expertise in head and neck surgery, salivary gland diseases, adenoid and tonsil operations, vocal cord disorders, endoscopic sinus surgery, septoplasty, and tympanoplasty.
In her academic career, she researched the effects of corticosteroid use in sinus surgery and presented her findings at national and international conferences. She has also prepared scientific publications on rare cases. Dr. Özan participated in the “The New Frontiers of Facelifting” meeting in Rome and completed a fellowship program in face and neck lift surgery at Clinica Sanatrix in Italy.
She is proficient in advanced English and can also communicate in Spanish and German.
